お雑煮・あけましておめでとうございます/Happy New Year・Ozouni
お雑煮
（日本語は後に続く）Happy New Year, everyone! This is a photo of traditional Japanese New Year's soup called, "ozouni." Ozouni differs greatly between regions and even by households! At our house, we use instant matsutake mushroom osuimono (soup) by Nagatanien as the base and mochi (pounded rice cake) which we toast in our oven toaster. It puffs up in the toaster, so it is hot, soft and chewy on the inside and toasty on the outside...perfect for a cold winter morning! This year, I served it with kamaboko (steamed fish paste), hanafu( a flower shaped breadlike food made of wheat ) and snowpeas. Served along with other traditional New Year's foods, it is a pleasant way to start the first day of the new year. What will this new year bring? 皆様、あけましておめでとうございます！この写真は「お雑煮」と言う日本のお正月に食べる伝統的な汁物です。お雑煮はかなり様々な地域差があり、家庭によっても色々です。我が家ではベースに永谷園の松茸味お吸い物を使いオーブントースターで焼いた餅を入れます。お餅はトースターの中で膨らむので中は熱く、柔らかく，モチモチしていて、外はホクホク香ばしい、、、寒い冬の朝にピッタリ！今年はかまぼこ，花麩、と莢豌豆で出しました。おせち料理に添えると心地よい新年のスタートです。この新年は何をもたらすのでしょう。皆様に健康、沢山の喜びと多くの恵みがありますようお祈りしています。さらに明るい兆しを願って「青い鳥の訪れ」という曲のリンクを付けます。楽しんでいただければ幸いです！
