マッシュポテト/Mashed Potatoes
(日本語は後に続く）As part of our breakfast to go with toast, I made an ordinary green salad (cabbage and sprouts) with a little salad dressing and topped it with a little bit of tuna salad, mashed potato and a dab of sauerkraut. I seasoned the tuna salad with mayonnaise and chopped lemon balm from our veranda. The mashed potato contains mixed vegetables, butter, salt and white pepper. Even ordinary days that seem to mash and run together can be brightened with little things like smiles and pleasant conversation. Just like mashed potatoes can be perked up with mixed vegetables and white pepper or tuna made refreshing with lemon balm.
トーストに添える朝食の一品に普通のグリーンサラダを作り、ドレッシングを少し注ぎ、その上にツナサラダ、マッシュポテトと少しのサワークラウトを載せました。ツナの味付けはマヨネーズとベランダのレモンバーム。マッシュポテトにはミックス野菜、バター、塩、白コショウを入れた。平凡で変化が少なく繋がっているような日々でも笑顔や心地よい会話で明るくなる。マッシュポテトがミックス野菜と白コショウで楽しくなり、またはツナがレモンバームで爽やかになるかのように。
