愛知県での農業体験/Agriculture Experience in Aichi
（日本語は後に続く）Last weekend, a friend and I had an interesting time participating in a one day agricultural tour of Aichi prefecture, starting with Aoi Park near Hekinan (where I got the strawberries above),and ending at Nagoya Minato Nouen, where the kind farmer,Mr. Banno, was waiting for us with roasted sweet potato. There, we got to experience harvesting vegetables such as cabbage and lettuce. I was surprised to learn that of the 47 prefectures in Japan, Aichi ranks 9th in terms of agricultural production! The purple flowers in the picture were weeds growing at the edge of a plot called "Hotoke no Za," or "Henbit Deadnettle," in English. I couldn't resist the pretty purple color, and Mr. Bando laughingly said I could help with the weeding as well! As soon as I got home, I rustled up a quick supper with the fresh ingredients. The whole experience was a good reminder to be thankful for our bounties.
先週末、友達と一緒に愛知県の農業ツアーに参加するという面白い一日体験をしました。それは碧南市のあおいパーク（上の写真の🍓を手に入れたところ）に始まり名古屋みなと農園に終わりました。そこで親切な農夫さん、坂野さんはサツマイモを焼きながら私達を待っていました。そこではキャベツやレタスなどの収穫体験が出来ました。日本の４７の都道府県の農産では愛知県が９位と知り驚きました。写真に写っている紫色のお花は「仏の座」という雑草です。素敵な紫色に魅せられていたら、「雑草だからお好きなだけ抜いていいよ」と笑い顔で言われました！家に帰るとすぐに新鮮なお野菜で簡単な夕飯をチャチャっと作りました。その体験を通して恵に感謝することを思い出しました。
